One of the features that I have been hacking on for my Python open source web publishing system called Calabro (which this blog is running on) is a pluggable theme system. “It is about time…lol”.
Now that I have the beta version of Calabro running this blog I plan to write at least everyday if not more. Also, if you experience any strange behavior or bugs, please be kind and let me know by a simple email cgabaldon@cox.net. Calabro is still in beta with a first version coming out soon so this blog will be the best place to test out calabro’s features and work out any issues.

Now that I have pre-release version of Calabro available, I plan to move this blog on to Calabro. This typo powered blog is hosted on DreamHost, but I have lost my faith in DreamHost, their shared hosting plan could not handle my previous blog, notesonrails.com. So I am moving to Slice Host, but unfortunately their is a waiting list.

I have uploaded the current pre-release version of Calabro, the publishing system that makes it very easy to setup a blog or website. Over the next few weeks I will have the remaining initial features complete and be ready to release version 0.5. Anyone interested in playing with the pre-release version can check it out from subversion.
svn checkout http://calabro.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ calabro
I am building a new open source blogging platform in Python, which I plan to replace this Typo powered blog with very soon,
